Enhancing Energy Through Gold, Colour & Craft
For thousands of years, gold has symbolised wealth, power, and reverence. Throughout human history it has been used in sacred and significant places like: churches, temples, Buddha statues, palaces, and treasured objects to elevate space, meaning, and presence.
My artistic practice draws on this enduring tradition with a contemporary intention:
to enhance the energy of a space, invite abundance, and create environments that feel grounded, uplifting, and deeply meaningful.
In my understanding, wealth extends far beyond financial success!
It encompasses wellbeing, fulfilment, creativity, and the freedom to live a life rich in purpose.
The Process of Commissioned Work
I welcome commissioned projects in all of my styles - from gilded panels and verre églomisé to large scale plaster works and architectural installations. Collaborating closely with clients, designers, and architects, I create bespoke artworks that respond to the identity, intention, and atmosphere of each space.
Each artwork is created through a thoughtful combination of:
Visual compositions, symbolic elements, or words of personal meaning, selected in collaboration with you.
Genuine 23 ¾ct gold, including white-gold, rose-gold etc.
These elements can be applied directly onto a feature wall, an architectural surface, an object, or created on canvas or panel - allowing the artwork to become an integral part of the space rather than an afterthought.
Materials, Techniques & Scale
I work across a range of artistic styles, with a deep passion for traditional gilding techniques. My favourite medium is tempera painting on genuine water-gilded panels, nevertheless I love also reverse gilding on glass (Verre églomisé) - a refined and luminous craft historically used in European decorative arts.
Verre églomisé is especially suited to the design and creation of architectural artworks in high-traffic and highly durable environments, including:
kitchen splashbacks
bar fronts and feature panels behind bars (with bottles displayed in front)
large bathroom tiles and wet-area feature walls
bespoke installations for residential and commercial interiors
These works allow gold, colour, and the brilliance of glass to interact with light, movement, and daily life in a truly immersive way.

Travel, Heritage & Influence
My work is deeply influenced by extensive travel, particularly through Italy - with a strong connection to Tuscany - and other culturally rich regions of Europe. The architecture, frescoes, craftsmanship, and symbolism of Giottese & Renaissance art continue to shape my aesthetic language and respect for traditional materials and techniques.
Travels through Mexico and Guatemala also profoundly influenced my relationship with colour, sparking a love for bold palettes and joyful expression. One of my artworks, Mexican Tiles, is directly inspired by Mexican culture and its vibrant visual storytelling.
My artistic journey began with large-format works using Venetian plaster, applied by spatula to create expressive, tactile surfaces. Today, my plaster artworks are created using tinted Venetian plaster (Istinto) on MDF, partly enriched with genuine gold and other metal leafs to achieve a balance between depth, texture, and refinement.
Across all my work, I intentionally incorporate 23¾ carat gold leaf to elevate the vibration of a space and invite a sense of abundance, harmony, and warmth.
Through continued study of colour theory and its impact on wellbeing, I have developed a deep understanding of how colour and gold together can transform the emotional and energetic quality of a space. This knowledge is consciously woven into every artwork I create.
